Ms. A contacted me after her cancer resurfaced and she was scheduled for a double mastectomy. Since this was her second round of treatments and surgery, she wanted to document her body before her double mastectomy. With little time to prepare for the photo shoot, the process was really about celebrating her body, capturing her breasts and scars, and documenting her beauty as a strong woman.
