How does a seasoned painter and photographer decide she wants to start a boudoir business? 

My story began after I dedicated years to teaching art in independent high schools and traveling the world during summer breaks, yearning for a bigger creative outlet. In 2017, I was approached by a woman who had seen my portraits. She was fifty-nine, working with a personal trainer, and in the best shape of her life. She wanted to celebrate her hard work and honor who she was at that moment — a sexy, proud, and powerful woman. 

Having always enjoyed helping people feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, guiding women in a more intimate setting felt like a natural progression. Before I knew it, I was capturing women of all ages and body types, celebrating the season they were in, and leaving them with timeless works of art that would forever honor their story.

Life has an uncanny way of leading you to where you're supposed to be.

If you’re worried about what to wear for a boudoir photography session, we always suggest starting with your own closet first. Contrary to popular belief, boudoir doesn’t have to be confined to lingerie; it can encompass a variety of options like lace, texture fabrics, cozy sweaters, a luxurious fur coat, a sexy dress, or even a sheer scarf. 

While you can bring your own outfits and lingerie, we also offer exclusive access to our Studio Closet, where you can select from a beautiful collection of lingerie (size XS - 5XL), body suits, robes, veils, jewelry, heels, and more

Nestled in the quiet residential neighborhood of Oakland Hills, California, our studio offers a safe and intimate backdrop for your boudoir experience. The expansive studio is covered with hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide ample natural light with custom furniture and blankets to create artistic images that focus on the female form. 

The studio also has a bathroom, private space, and spacious kitchen with espresso drinks and snacks readily available, and free street parking for your convenience.
